Girl, 17, charged over hit-run: police

A TEENAGE girl has been charged over an alleged hit-and-run crash in north Sydney which left a cyclist in a critical condition.
The 65-year-old was thrown from his bicycle as he was struck on Eastern Valley Way at Northbridge just before midnight on Saturday.
It's alleged the driver of the car didn't stop after the accident.
The man was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with head injuries, a fractured right arm and leg, and a collapsed lung.
Police say the 17-year-old girl, a P-plate driver from Forestville, has attended Chatswood Police Station on Sunday where she was charged with failing to stop after a collision occasioning grievous bodily harm.
nothing much to comment this time as i have posted similar type of issue like previous news. Modern lifestyle and many other factors in society have incited many problems in our community. Parents are not doing enough in nurturing and providing guidances to thier children. They seem to focus more on their works. Hence, i think parental guidances is one of the important measures that can be used to solve this problems.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, teenagers nowadays are lack of moral guidance. Moral is something that to be slowly forgotten by recent youngsters. Many cases of immoral behaviours can be seen everyday on newspaper. Well, it is a sad trend. Perhaps the society should do something to improve the condition.
